When I did the games one I didn't give a flying fuck about leaving the tracks un-fuckered  :D  I fucked 'em all! I say do what you want, it'll be better for it. |

ULing now. Naturally there are reasons aside from laziness for it taking quite so long, but I won't make excuses. I should have finished it off sooner. Please accept my apologies and I hope the quality of this Vibes more than makes up for the wait. For those of you who care: Mixing was done in Traktor, with no tone correction, no EQing, filters, etc. basically just slight repitching for beat matching (that's not drift on the 909 kick where it sounds like it- it's flamming on one of the tracks!) and crossfading. Big: I was considering "mixing" in Re-birth of sorts, but it'd take too much control away from the individual artists; it'd be more like me doing one long remix of their patterns. |

The infamy of Vibes #16 continues. As well as it still being unrecognised on the frontpage the URL it was previously available at is now a dead link. It's clearly the most "ltd. edition" of the vibes and mp3, never mind CD copies of it will be worth big money on ebay in years to come. Did it take too long to complete? Did Warp catch wind of it and block its release? Was it just too subversive, too dangerous, too damn scary? Whatever the reason, I'm proud to of been a part of it. |
