This probably aint xltronic topic at all, but i had to
askya, youre my best source ; )
So, dya got any recommendations for some obscure, hard but
still kinda straight guitarbased bands like Kinski, The
Panthers, Turing machine, Hella who make music you can dance
to? Even sth like Out hud or LCD Soundsystem will do, just
dont give me some tv crap like those
TheKillsKillersHivesThrillsHothotheat pussies.

Wow, i'm demanding.

Thanks guys.

Umm... Dysrhythmia's somewhat like Hella (or what I've heard
of Hella)... not as easy to dance to, but well...
Dysrhythmia's good. So... Listen to them.

I feel I should have better suggestions, but I got nothing.
If you enjoy and want more stuff like Refused, I could be a
bit more helpful...

Dillinger Escape Plan

they're more than just a guitar and drums, which i think you
may have been looking for. they definitely have a large
technical aspect.

Calculating Infinity is their best work (imo)

guitar/drums bands, but its necessary they play g/d as well.
Its just diificult to explain what i actually want :)

rasec, i checked austin tv from their site, its very nice.
Not what i was looking for, but still, thanks.

I don't really know much about contemporary guitar bands,
but I couldn't resist the urge to recommend late-1960s and
early-1970s jazz-rock fusion da likes of Mahavishnu
Orchestra, Return to Forever, or Dixie Dregs. If you like
guitar--especially jammin' with expertly
synthedelicals--then you might like those, or otherwise I
would recommend transcending the pop format to explore Ozric
Tentacles or Phish.

Ulan Bator have really sexy guitarscapes that are kind of
post-rocky but with more spice. Cool music. I've also been
digging that new Pelican album, check it out if you like
metal.
