We here at Metanoia are extremely enthused to announce that
as of today, our official permanent website is live. We have
3 new mp3 releases for you to download (Love Tangle, Glasse
& Siktransit), as well as our first ever hardcopy CD release
by Truth Will Out. On top of all that, the Artist section
has finally gone live, and new content has been added
throughout the entire site.

We'd like to take a moment to thank all of our supporters
and friends, and anyone who has downloaded from us. Your
encouragement has driven us to take Metanoia beyond just
being a netlabel. We promise many more exciting
developements in the future. Coming later this month, the
first issue of a serial novel for Metanoia by author Petty
Rathbone & artist Jack Rabbit, entitled 'Reptilian Brain'.

Thank you all so much and enjoy the site!

i'm not saying the list is long, just that it's...odd. i'm
sure there are other items on the list that aren't fit to be
enumerated on a family message board frequented by
impressionable children.

anyway, carrion, keep on metanoiing.

probably not - tibbar has already said that he hates this
site and most of its users but it is rather convenient to
spam his netlabel on.

if you look under the links section, youll notice ive linked
xlt. regardless of my feelings about xlt or watmm, the
service is there to be had. my beef with xlt has never been
anything other than a little chunk of the people who feel
the need to antagonize and the people who can and should
enforce against it, but dont. that old cliche of one rotten
egg spoils the bunch. dont think im a watmm champion,
though... theres really just as many clods over there. but
with being as busy as i am with the site and with various
musical projects, i dont even have a time to be a msg board
junkie anymore anyway, even if i wanted to. all im trying to
say is, i may have some beef, but im not some disrespectful
punk kid. i dont spend time out of my day to day life
bashing xlt. anyway, that is all. visit the site or dont.
like the stuff or dont. i dont really care, cuz therell be
an audience one way or another. I KNOW its good and im proud
of what ive done. peace to the peaceful. haters arent worth
my time.

the gothic look really explains the class of metanoia media,
i think. i'm glad others can catch that, i love it. i
designed the site by the way, but tibs has taken it much
further since the relaunch. :D

check out the Super 8 release and the newest Dissolved
release. i was rockin those out today, i can't get enough of
it. really amazing stuff!

I don't see anything wrong with posting updates about
personal projects on here. A message board can be used for
a) a discussion board or b) a bulletin board. Posting "Hey
my site is live" or "I have a new release available" is
using it in function (b). "Hey what do you guys think of
the new autechre and how does it compare to new aphex twin?"
is function (a). IMO .. I don't believe one has to
regularly perform function (a) to use function (b), anymore
than they would have to post little slips of paper back and
forth on the laundromats bulletin board week after week
about their favorite TV show with other laundromat users in
order to pin up "make money from home" or "house for sale."

This was the last thread tibbar posted in. Anyone know what
happened to him?

He's alive and kicking in other internets. There was a
problem with his face or something that caused him to stop
posting here. I quite liked tibbar at times.

He's got "beef with xlt", possibly the only man on the
planet that could type that without stabbing a fork into
their own nuts.
