you don't need the breakdown.
just try saying XLT aloud, as an acronym.
yes.. zilty!
you now both have to pay dog_belch moneys for he came up with it.
what's that..? oh no, I don't need to pay! I'm an early adopter..!

it works better if you're a native english speaker i guess : )
i thought about pronouncing "xltronic" as a "normal" word before, but i had come up with something like "kssltronik" or "ksultronic", not "ziltronic".

It's a grey area. Take my nick for instance... who would actually pronounce it 'zec', which is what it's supposed to be?

no no, just because you use a silly IDM-type name like I do, doesn't mean all logic goes out of the window.
which words that end on 'eque' would you pronounce as 'eek' instead of 'ek'?
you electronica listeners think you can just get away with anything but luckily the q-rator is still around.

This acronym has no vowels, so how do you know it's not "zolty" or "zalty"? Furthermore, even if the vowels you arbitrarily chose are cheated in, all I come up with is "zilt" not "zilty". "ZilTY" pronounces the 'T' as the name of it's letter, so how come the other letters don't follow suite? Why isn't it "exelty"? Huh? HUH??

I say, "ex-el-tee", so I'm siding with w M w on this one: It's "exelty", dammit!
NB: However, that isn't obscure enough to ever become an "XLT-buzzword" a la B7, For K_Maty only!!1!, banf, &etc. So, it looks like Zilty is here to stay.
