I went on holiday in Florida (I'm from england) and I the
food was so delicious and abundant. I'm not suprised
Americans are fat with places like IHOP and Taco Bell.

i watched super-size me. that guy does not make a big enough
case against people who don't know how to manage a diet. he
blames it all on mcdonalds and poor food instutitions in
schools that teach kids to eat sweets and fats at a young
age. whatever. 70% of the time those kids are at the house
stuffing their faces with gushers and fruit roll ups right
in front of their parents. there are plenty of resources of
information for nutritional values in food for grown-ups.

like a pencil he snaps his own point in half and discards it
when he interviews a guy who did the same thing as he did
for a longer period and nothing happened to him.

yeah there are these things you take into account when it
comes to health... they are called PHYSIOLOGICAL DIFFERENCES
which can vary dramatically from person to person.

fuck, i know skinny people who eat mcdonalds every day, do
not run, or excersize and feel great every day. bottom line
is if you are fat you need to eat less and excersize more,
change your habits, and be more active.

look at the fat ass woman in the video. jesus christ. that
is just off the deep end. that is terrible. holy shit.

People should take more personal resonsibility, and stop
blaming institutions for problems they've created for
themselves.

it's not all about what you eat, it's also about how much
exercise you do.

unfortunately fast food companies are partly to blame, they
monopoloise the food market and out price their competition.
read the book "fast food nation", it is very interesting.

(well... muscle... not just any weight). Heh... I guess I'm

People who shout Personal Responsibility should remember
that when mummy and daddy are sleeping on a Sunday morning,
McDonald's and its colleagues are bombasting their children
with their advertisements. Obviously they could throw away
their T.V. but why should they have to ?

These companies target from birth.

As was stated in the documentry mentioned above McDonalds
also provide the only play facilities in the urban area they
filmed it in...they do their level best so that parents
can't escape those golden arches.

Re:People who shout Personal Responsibility.....

It's the only solution. People have to start making
decisions for themselves. I hate the way the left thinks
people are stupid babies that have to be mollycoddled by the
state because we're too dumb to take care of ourselves.
(In case you hadn't guessed I'm a libertarian.)

It's not about being dumb, it's about decades of
manipulation -- and these days they are especially
attempting to entwine themselves into the very fabric of
society.

I think it's pretty funny when British people call Americans
fat.

There are shitloads of fat fuckers in the UK. British
children are the third fattest in the world. Fast food
outlets are everywhere. Microwave meals and convenience food
are incredibly popular.

Try going to another European country and you'll see what a
bunch of grossly obese blobs a lot of British people are.

Foreign people who visit the UK can't believe what a bunch
of fat cunts reside there. Trust me.

People in glass houses and all that.....

true, but you don't have this phonomenon of "morbid obesity"
in england as you do in the states.

i've found that when english people are fat; they're fat,
overweight.
when americans are fat, they're obese, disgusting,
revolting.. they take it to an extreme.

Yes, and it's happened since the shit US companies have
started trading here -- check the stats on weight loss in
the UK since McDonald's first started trading.
