ovuca - boom blaster?

new album title or alias?

Ovuca
katastro.fi produced and is hosting Ovuca's web site. Ovuca
is the Finnish talent of Aphex Twin & Grant
Wilson-Claridge's UK label Rephlex. Site design by the
clamoring, keening egos of mikko* 'poseidon' karvonen and
jugi 'i am man hear me wheeze' kaartinen.

Go now and know the BOOM BLASTER. Say it again! That word
will make you happier than those two dancing guys in Asian
Dub Foundation...

Hmmm. So are they releasing it themselves? I feel that its
not entirely clear. Or would this go through Rephlex?

This is good news if we have something new.

Thanks aleksi!!!!

ADF are the boys. BOOM BLASTER BOOM BLASTER BOOM

If this release is a patch on Astrobotnia, it'll be great.

does it sound like analord? if not it doesn't deserve to be
on rephlex

hu hu hu

(not dicking on rephlex, but the fact that something has to
be similar to analord nowadays to sound at least a bit
interesting to people who haven't even heard the actual
music yet)

just listen^^
but the title alone lets guess for no tusslord;
it seems to be more in the rephlex grime/manhunt manner,
if i was to compare it with other releases.

analord sounds like acid/house/techno/electro/etc/etc/etc
it's broadranging electronic music so you could say that
many things are reminiscent of it and visa versa
but the personalities in this music is certainyl individual
and original and inspiring as well as inspired

B side is quite boring...but A side tracks are FTW and all
that.

Will he ever again reach the creative peaks of Astrobotnia?
He has no obligation to, as he has served us with some of
the greatest music known to man. But...a boy can dream.

b-side was quite a bummer, really expected some
more of that track. doesnt evoke any mood.
sound of a needle clipping, meh

shoulda have put that water samples track from his website
on side-b. it is original and nice !

its ok,
i think i may played it on 33 the first time.
was quite tired when the postman rang me out of
bed to deliver these goods -.-
been trying to make new urban/techno tracks aside
this year once again, based mainly on selfmade noisy
samples, so i had much higher hopes for that one.
dont know much dark noisy stuff that rocks,
s´ all..
