I have a vinyl that "floats" on the deck (it doesn't keep up the pace, and it does two rounds even after the plate has come to a full stop). It makes the songs very.. they oscillate, and it's pissing me off... putting "weight" on it didn't help, as it still floats... anyone got any ideas on how to stop it? |

if you find a "suitable" material. how about making a stickmat? perhaps one of those webbed mats you put under carpets and tablecloths. come to think of it, that's the best fuckin idea I've had in a few months. |

Sounds like the hole is a bit loose. Used some thin paper strips, fed through the hole and taped flat onto either side to 'shim' the hole smaller. The non-stick back of tape labels (slippy side facing into the hole), works wonders. Try using 3 small ones, approx 120 degrees apart. |

nah, it bends up from the center. I stuck a piece of paper under the slipmat, and it worked. |
