That was meant to read:

"Teen pop sensations McFly review the week's new releases,
including Jackson's latest single on Warp"

Jackson - Rock On / Arpeggio (WARP)

Anyone expecting a David Essex cover will be disappointed,
but hopefully not that disappointed. Warp are proud of their
new signing, the ridiculously young and gifted Jackson.
Though will the McFly boys feel the same way...

Tom: "What's that? I don't understand music like that.
That's what nightmares sound like."

Danny: "It sounds like something you'd hear in a skate park.
Or in clothes shops or something random like that. Like if
you go into a gothic shop or something."

Harry: "Yeah, you could imagine it being played really loud.
It's annoying."

Dougie: "That first song, it was just like... skipping and
everything. What were they doing? I thought the CD was
skipping."

Tom: "What is it? What's he actually done? Has he written a
song?"

Dougie: "Is he a DJ? He's not actually written a song".

Harry: "I'm sure he'd come back with a fair argument to say,
well it's gritty."

Dougie: "I'm sure he's got a justification for it, but it's
just not our sort of thing."

Tom: "I like melodies, and good structures. If you hear
something like The Postal Service they do weird stuff like
that but it all seems to be mixed better. It's really
strange, but it's not like that."

So I take it you're not big Aphex Twin fans then?

Tom: "A big what fan?"

Aphex Twin.

McFly: "No, we've not heard of that."

Danny: "I bought a Mr Scruff album once". [Turns nose up]

Isn't it just perfect?

Warp actually linked to that themselves on a recent mailer.

There's no such thing as bad PR, eh?

He's clearly trying to sound as though he knows something
about production techniques and compostion.

on the new white stripes single:

Harry: "I'm not really into that whole weird... it's not
really mega weird music..."

Dougie: "You can imagine a little jack-in-the-box jumping
out at you."

I like the fact that more and more Jack White sings like a
mad old lady.

Danny: "Haha. Bob Dylan went like that didn't he?"
