has got to hands down belong to errol_morris.

good time for miller time.

I've always liked his voice. I can almost picture the shitty
run down bars. I can almost taste the stale beer and cheap
whiskey and i can almost smell the overpowering cigarettes
that surrounded him.

I just had a voice-related experience too...

I was sitting at a lecture, and some girl behind me asked a
question.. as soon as she started speaking, I fell in love..
it was the most beautiful, flawless voice I could ever
imagine, but I didn't dare turn my head to look because it
might ruin the mental image of her.. I wonder who it was...

I love a good voice. um, some favs. Chirstopher Walken.
James Earl Jones. Burl Ives. Peter Jennings. The guy who
hosts Frontline (probably the creepiest voice I've ever
heard). The women who host autopsy on hbo. I like Alec
Baldwin's voice, even though he's annoying. English
favorites, Jeremy Irons and Bill Nigh.. There are many
others, but I can't think of them right now.

Errol's also a very fine documentarist.

Has anyone seen that documentary Morris made with the hedge
artist, and mole-rat specialist, etc.?

I've seen The Fog of War (which is incredible, man for me
Robert McNamara is an incredible personna), the Thin Blue
Line, A Brief History of Time, Mr. Death and Vernon Florida.
All 4 are incredible. Yours is one of the only I haven't
seen, but every one who saw it told me the connections
between those 4 "freaks" were amazing.

The Fog of War is technically incredible, for the first time
I've seen a person trully talk to me on screen, he goes
beyond the POV of the documentarist with the way he staged
the glass/camera technique. No wonder he won the Academy
award for Best documentary.
