I really want to love it, but its so expensive to get stuff
across the border, that It doesnt make much sense for me to
use it. If I lived in the states I would buy my toilet paper
on ebay.

I also enjoy ebay, and continue to use it to purchase great
music which I can't find around here, like most of RDJ's
stuff

I love ebay too, I wonder sometimes though, they charge more
and more, and they grow bigger and bigger, how can ANY
online auction site ever compete with them? What will stop
them from totally monopolizing and raising their prices?

corngrower,

you live in iowa city so I assume you know about the record
collector. they carry tons of idm, electronica, and techno
records. one of the guys that works there is really into
aphex twin, kid 606, and other electronica stuff so he can
help you out. take care

How expensive is it to get things outside of the US? I mean,
I'm bidding on a pack of 30cds, say I get it for $5, I'm
guessing I'll be paying, say, US$15 for handling. Does that
sound right? And I'm also buying a magazine, and I expect to
pay maybe $6 or something for postage, am I way off?

and well, I've only bid on one thing, which I won... but
yeah, I don't see myself using it too much, unless I can get
cds for rediculously low amounts in US dollars, so that with
the exchange rate and shipping and handling it would still
be cheaper... mostly I'll just use it for hard to get
things!
