I am still listening... The opening vocals (the regular guy and the higher pitched voice) can be removed. They come across as awkward. Everything after that so far is great. The electricity sounds and the train and everything goes well together. This is a very interesting track so far. I like it apart from the beginning vocals |

In the end i was a bit surprised with the length of the song. It felt longer than i expected and that in this case was a good thing. Actually when it was pretty close to being complete i was thinking: "That would be great if this was like sleep's "dopesmoker" Which if you didnt know is one track around 65-67minutes long. |

If you havent heard sleep then you should. Particularly this album "dopesmoker". Its not electronica but i would view it in the category "one of the most important metal albums of all time" Even if you dont like metal. Its slow and sludgy. Its ace over all! |

Bright Yellow Moon is cool, but of the more tranquil NWW/C93 albums I choose Man With a Woman Face and The Sadness of things. |

this is definitely one of my favourite albums from both these fellers' catalogues... to Panda: NWW's most recent album features his wife (i'm pretty sure) speaking in French (and other languages too, i think ) over top of one of his ambient compositions... very cool stuff actually. also: no Jhonn Balance wasn't really a part of NWW, it's possible he may have been a collaborator from time to time, but that can be said of a lot of people over the years. The only permanent fixture in the group is Stephen Stapleton, though in recent years, Colin Potter has been a regular collaborator. i wouldn't nitpick if i didn't one day dream of becoming thoughest. Bright Yellow Moon is based on David Tibet's experience while he was gravely ill (near death if i understand correctly), and the quasi-hallucinatory state that resulted because of his meds and such. very beautiful stuff. |

i can't speak for current 93 as i don't know him (them?) well, but nurse with wound is usually scary/beautiful for ambient, and can be a lot of other things (including plain bizarre, confusing, danceable, irritating, interesting, frightening, etc) otherwise. a lot of weird sound collages. i recommend: • sugar fish drink • homotopy to marie • alice the goon • soliloquy for lilith • man with the woman face |
