I always wanted to start one of these.. heh...
anyway, on to the discussion if there will be one... this is not his best work imo, although it still is pretty good!
it also seems weird to me that he's actually moving towards less experimental stuff as opposed to what one would expect...

i receive the monthly(?) Warprecords bulletin, and once i had the chance to download "Pagina Dos"... wow!
this album is great... also because it has the participation from the lead singer of a mexican band called Café Tacvba... i guess is the last track...

this is the only album I have of Prefuse 73. I dig it. :] the japanese CD release includes an extra track (not sure about the vinyl) called 'travel journal.'

Just listened to this for the first time in months. At first I was really disappointed. It seemed like there was no real technical development, just more stoppy start beats and smooth layered female voices. Also the tracklisting looked more like padding for Scott Herren's CV. Quite negative, I think Herrens anti-download rant left a bad taste in my mouth at the time.
But now with hindsight, I do think its a pretty good album. Its more like a mix-tape for a late summer party rather than a thematically sealed P73 album. The track with Kazu Makino and the final track with the Broadcast singer are really beautiful tracks easily up there with his best and its probably easier to listen to in one sitting than his other albums because of the variation in vocalists.
