I got symbol from you I think and then my computer crashed,
so I haven't listened too much to it yet, but what I heard
was wondertastic!

I think "Grinning Cat" was kinda fresh. Nice and varied. Not
heard anything else though.

I got "Symbol" following your recommendation......... some
of the tracks are great ("The Dying Black Swan", "Long Long
Silk Bridge")......... it's a diificult thing to sample
classical tracks and incorporate them into a modern
electronic framework, easy to make it sound weak and glib,
but this album does it well.......

yeah, he's great at doing that..but i can't help not to
think it goes over the edge sometimes..some songs seem a bit
pompous even..the first of his albums im unsure about. i
love some songs, but i wish he kept it more subtle..

yeah, it's not perfect and there are some "misses" on it for
sure............

Symbol is really strange, I'm not sure I like it or
what. Does he always use samples like that?

well, usually he sues them in a much more subtle way..he
overblown it this time i fear..though not in all songs..

you should check out sakura if you don't know it yet..one of
my all time favourite albums.

i have mixed feelings about symbol - i imagine people who
didn't know him by now would like it, but it's a bit
disappointing for the old fans..
