I listened to the 256bitrate vers. All the sounds are well defined and nicely placed. The lead synth line reminds me of u-ziq.
I really liked the noises at 2:35 to around 3mins they added some depth and interest. Overall the song didnt really stir or interest me too much, however I think your production and technique is excellent. Anyway just an opinion. I'd like to hear something you made that is more deranged or looser if that makes any sense. It kind of reminds me of tracks where you spend so long getting everything sounding really good that it loses it's initial spark.

Yeah, it was enjoyable, nothing mindblowing or anything, but really sweet. I like the warmth of the whole track, the mix feels pretty nice, not too much going on and the stuff that is going on has good space.. At least acording to these half-crappy headphones.
The thing im least keen on in this track is the drums, could be a bit more variating on the overal in my opinion, but I allways think that and im not very fond of "drum machine - drums" so im the wrong person to comment them, but the kick works nicely =D
But, good job yeah. Enjoyable track, would work well as a last track on an album i think.

I love it, a WARPish kind of style electronica, like it overall mylittlesister :) Cheers to you. Nice, kind of calm electronica, melodic, not too much noise, just the necessary to make it a nice tune..Congrats my friend..Also I've heard your jazz demo recordings and let me tell you, for me is a flawless recording. Hope to hear of your jazz band to the likes of Coltrane, M Davis and even like Chick Corea Electric Band ;)

thanks for listening, and for your comments :)
i was kind of stuck in two minds with this track, i wanted to keep the listener interested but didn't want to grab their attention too much. the whole piece is in a 9/8 time signature, which was a bit accidental, but i liked it, however this brought up it's own problems when it came to the drums - how to make it flow?
definately learnt a few tricks while making this track.
cie jiks mawp, how do you mean 'deranged or looser'? know any artists/tracks that could provide a good example of this?

a very pleasant and warm track, Jack -- inventive and beautifully spaced. the pacing is very good - not perfect but very good! :p
overall, a notch above the usual XLT fare!

not really thinking of a particular artist just about flow in music in general. Programming vs playing sort of thing and how to acheive a sense of liveliness in programming. Maybe Bilious Paths or Jega: Geometry. are albums that are programmed but are able to get to the listener on lots of different levels.

'looser' makes me think of swing, or moving out of strict timings. lengthening and shortening note lengths, so that they are not exact.

yeah exactly...
nudging the snares, turning off "snap to", changing the velocity etc
Also listening to your songs as you make them and looking away from the screen! I get so locked in by staring at the sequencer and making things 'visually correct'.

Whats apps you using. nice use of reverb. I dont like the snare, but thats about it. too 'snareish' if you know what i mean. sounds like a little shot of white noise. the sidestick one that seems to take over at 1:47 is cool.

it's all in fl5. yeah, i wasn't too keen on the generic snare sound, this track was going to go all acid-like, but fortunately i ventured away from that. that snare was the only thing left really.

Great choon! Genre bending, got a bit of a country feel almost with the rising pitch like steel guitars in the background. Makes me think of big skies.

dude sounds like u have some technical chops. i dug the synth lines, but the drums werent doing it for me. they were farr too simplistic and generic sounding.

This track is brilliant, I really enjoyed it. Fantastic production, I thought the drums were interesting, it shifts effortlessly in pace and flows beautifully. I agree with fleetmouse reminds me of big skies, maybe with a touch of Tony Hart gallery music. (No bad thing) "And here is a lion created in pastel by little Rebecca aged 3 in Cheshire"
Great job mylittle sister!

thanks for listening all :) and for your feedback.
i'm still not sure about "simplistic drums" comments, there's quite a lot of small details that i put in - maybe too small. hmm.
