In the city I would always see tapes broken and strewn everywhere on the street, like depressing tinsel-litter wafting around. people must be getting fed up with their cassettes and throwing them out their car windows in record numbers. to me, tapes seem like an impractical and inconvenient medium.. they have to be wound up when being assembled, with moving parts. after a lot of play it gets crappier and crappier sounding. record and cd are much better formats methinks. I'll shut up before the tape-toting mob stones me to death with their cassettes or strangles me with tangled loose tape. |
