The waiting begins now.

Alienware is also replacing the heatsink and cooling system
in my current laptop so that will be a beast again.

I remember someone (maybe pomme) mentioning a program called
"Midi Over Lan". Would this program work when networking a
pc and mac together?

Assuming you're serious, thats excellent!

I want to use the pc for vst instruments like reaktor and
the powerbook for sequencing.

I once used a Mac, but they weren't any sequencers on it, so
I can't say my opinion really.

Might auction the alienware if I find i don't need it. i
don't have much cash anymore because I've worked all summer
as a telemarketer so I could afford the powerbook.

I'm happy you haven't much cash, cause me neither! ahaha!
Anyway, I worked all the summer too (and it's not finished),
and I want a laptop too (PC), even if I have to buy my
driving license first... (losing my never bought car at the
same time...)

I'm afraid of using ebay, though... (I think all items are
fakes, dunno why...)

Yeah you can apparently midi sync two computers over a lan.

alienware is horribly overpriced. you can buy the same for
much less money at m-techlaptops.com
