i want some good ideas for how to do it. i really want to
know how to screw up the timing. i know i can mess with
tempo and swing, but i want more ways to do it. maybe
something like running a bunch of midi info or ghost notes
into a sequence to cancel out other midi or cut 'em short. i
use hardware only by the way. maybe i should look into
buying another sequencer so i'll have 2 and make this a
little easier.

why don't you sequence it manually w/out MIDI?

In fruityloops you can program the bpm wery nicely. and get
cooledit. chop chop suey.
