Too many hours spent listening to the Elektro Sessions on

its nice and clicky minimal. like the bassline as well. and
lonely synth. and reversing little parts.

you playing this type of stuff at bristol?

Yeah...I will be playing Electro, Tech, Idm Stuff in
Bristol, depends on the crowd on the night really.

I might even play this one if I feel confident enough in it
:)

I like all your tracks I've heard, this included. My
favourite is still 29-5-82 Electro (is that what it's
called?) which I play regularly.

i like it!

i just wish the bass had a bit more punch, not necessarily
louder, just more defined. it sounds a bit distant - i
dunno, maybe that's what you wanted.

Dog_belch: Glad you like my stuff :)
I've been a bit lazy recently....after the gig i've got
coming up in two weeks I will be able to finish some of the
sketches i've got. I will give you a shout when they are
done.

mylittle sister: I didn't want the bass tone to be too
overbearing but i know what you mean, I will go back and
tweak that at somepoint.

This took a little while to get going for me. But i liked
it.

it's quite simple but that works.

Cheers man :)

I have been thinking that it might need to be a bit quicker,
it might be a bit too ploddy for the dancefloor. Most of my
tracks are 120 bpm because thats the default setting in
cubase...how lazy

Have you made anything lately? Whens that twelve of yours
coming out?

Damn you just reminded me that i need to kick someone about
my 12", so that means there is no definate idea of when that
will be.

No new music from me at the moment either really. Just been
kicking some ideas around in the park to be honest. Nothing
i have done recently sounds amazing though. It all lacks
spark.

The ideas i have seem to be too advanced for my flagging
spirit these days.

Bummer. I find I write better stuff in winter, the whole
summer vibe just makes me write rubbish house tracks.

Im sure your spirit will catch up soon, in the meantime
enjoy beer gardens and kicking other things around in the
park. :)

this track is really good. quality as I have learned to
expect from you.

Nicely produced, sound-wise - I agree with Jack about the
bass -- is there any reverb on it all? If so, that might be
taking away some of the sheen.. I wish it had developed more
-- either structurally-wise or energy-wise. Nice and relaxed
tho.

Vlari: Cheers :D Looking forward to that new mix of
yours! I remember you saying August a few months back :p

Marlowe: Despite all the good comments I've had off this
track...I was incredibly lazy making it.....Could have
progressed the ideas further and twisted up the sound more
but got bored and decided to leave it at that.

More effort next time.

Ha ha, I regularly change my default BPM for this reason!
I've toyed with the idea of setting it stupidly low/high to
force myself to think about it each time I start a new
track.

I like the track. I'll try to be at the gig next week, too.

It would be cool if you can make it mate! I know Stilaktive
is thinking about it aswell. Mini XLT gathering!

I have no Idea what to expect from this gig, it's making it
quite hard to prepare. We are drawing straws for timeslots
on the night, which is diplomatic but means I don't know if
i Should take warm up tracks or peaktime!

I know you are a fan of Ochre aswell...Im really looking
forward to his set, hopefully I won't be playing at the
same time!

dynamic and clear. i didn't find it interesting at first
listen, but after the second i'm beginng to get the vibe !
it's a grower ! :) good work and good luck with your gig.

Yes I am quite like that too - which is one of the reasons
most of my own tracks are so short :D
