Perhaps one of the only senior British politicians worth
listening to has died.

I'm genuinely upset by this. I've read quite a bit of what
he's said, on issues from the environment to Iraq, and he
seemed to "speak the truth", as trite as that may sound.

One has to wonder whether his death was entirely natural,
thorn in the side of Blair as he was......

I genuinely think this is a great loss.

Terrible news. One of the most valued dissenting voices of
English politics regarding the Iraq war - and certainly, as
everyone else has said, one of the more honest and
nice-sounding politicians..
