Help fill out this Rota and see if it can't be accepted by
our Immortal Webmaster! I've started us off with my
suggestions for one Mon. per month, and an easy one for a
SUnday Evening.

[Mon] Members' Music Monthly -- a monthly exploration of our
own hand-crafted musics.

[Tue]

[Wed]

[Thur]

[Fri]

[Sat]

[Sun] Serene Sunday -- an evening of chilled-out ambient.

Excellent Idea, Goran -- but not very electronic... but if
we were to diversify, I would back that suggestion, and
maybe have 'modern classical' on a Tuesday evening -- Cage,
Reich, Ligeti, Penderecki etc.

A couple of ideas (Probably shit ones)

- DJ Battles - Dj's produce a short set that gets voted on

- Introduction to artists best work - An hour dedicated to
one of the major artists where you kind of request /
recomend tracks.

- Friday night mashup to get you ready for partying

I feel like Alan Partridge trying to get a second series..

Monkey Tennis?

An hour of chronicling the development of an artist would be
good - with interviews and a narrator. Excellent
suggestion.

/me lobs up a monkey and serves it to the backhand court.

Snares Saturday Weekly.

Each Saturday could be dedicated to Snares latest release.
Whilst this would mean we would miss half of them it might
still be worth a go. Only problem is the enforced show
repeats with a different title.

we should have at least one day of non-electronic music:
some classic, modern, rock-metal, post-everything, nujazz
etc, etc...

every day is an XLTday!

I think we should encompass culture days on the radio ie,
latin music, old polish music etc.

Yes _gvarek_ agreed with you one more time, should either
make it saturday not all day though, but dedicate a decent
amount of hours to those different genres, like one saturday
will be, as you said, Nu-jazz, the next one Modern rock, the
next one Alternative, the following Nu-Metal, and such, what
everyone thinks?

Well _gvarek_ if we all get together on this, send the ideas
to Phobiazero then he'll be able to put it to work in a
nicely organized fashion.. Like when we want to be able to
do some live mixing here on Xlt Radio, he must organize
everything withing a schedule, so everything will come out
very smooth ;)

I can see by Phobiazero's enthusiastic posts in this thread
that he is 100% behind this idea. Great!
