It just wasn't that welcoming, when I first got onto aphextwin.nu. I didn't feel like I was on the porifery of a cliche like I did with WATMM. I hope new user don't feel the same here. |

The XLT layout far, far better. And it's nice to actually talk/read about music sometimes, even if it's mostly a WARP/Rephlex circlejerk. Autechre thread no. 3000 in the process of being built. |

Geez guys. It IS only a message board you know. I'm on both and honestly don't notice any real difference between the two. Each have their own cliques and in-jokes, but both are in essence exactly the same. |

There are good people on both boards! There are alot of guys on that board that i wish would post here more often. I hate that board php or whatever it is. I like the fact that we have more trolls and bullshit. It keeps my purple headed warrior prepaired for action! |

I also hate sub forums. I never check them. Actually when there is more than one option in which to post i usually lose track of where to put my posts or what i have posted in. i'm sure you don't mean the members... because there are loads of members there with character... watmm cliche-ish... i'll agree with that... but my first welcome here wasn't a good one either... so it goes both ways. it's just a matter of preference which people prefer really... you may like the minimalist layout of xlt... which i do like mind you... or the invision look of watmm... i don't mind that at all either... i like both places... but spend more time there... but last week i spent more time here... but when i first turn on my computer and make my daily rounds of the internet.... it's usually... 1) myspace 2) watmm 3) xlt 4) tefosav 5) email 6) porn |

Both here and there have things going for and against them. I don't think it really acomplishes anything to go on a "my forum is better than yours" rant. Look on both places as resources. Two is better than one. etc. |
