I don`t know if this is normal or whatever but anyway I`ll
explain.

Yeah we got DSL the other day, high speed net but itsplugged
into the phone line (???). Anyway half the websites I click
on send back errors. IS DSL known to do this or is it my
ISPs fault ?

Right on thanks!

check your service provider page to see if there are any
current problems reported. If there arent turn the modem off
and on.

I do not have this problem with my dsl at home, so i vote
for "it's your ISP's fault"

thank you

that wouldnt effect his internet access anyway.

no, dsl is not known to do this.

[btw the reason dsl is a whole lot faster than dial up is
that its not actually using the phone line, its using two
other cables that are in standard phoine lines but unused by
them. this is why you need dsl filters, because a regular
phone would not know what to do with the extra two lines]

dude, whirlpool is -australian-. he ain't australian :-)

oxygenfad: could be 9 zillion different things. i'd be
suspecting your PC first, though; maybe you've got spyware
or a virus.

My greatest problem so far has been the firewall, don't know
why. I also just got instructions to delete and then
reinstall my virus protection program. Annoying.
Don't know what your case is but the firewall's just messing
everything here.
