Decent mix CD-R all around but nothing exceptional. An
unusual 60 minute concoction of American Hip-Hop and English
electronics which Mortal + Chemist have made their name.
It’s a lot more exciting than their last self-titled
effort on 33 but still under par. It’s laced with a bit of
humor, samples of America’s Hip-Pop Rapper Nelly can be
found here along with some not so familiar vocal samples.
It’s still not known whom M & C really are and we will
probably never know but rest assured that Team Doyobi’s
Alex Peverett or Chris Gladwin might hold the answer.

I don't like their 33 12"-release much, but the mix is good.
You can still get it at Skam.co.uk for £4.99 I think. I got
it on soulseek

i know dr derek f is one of team dyobi coz i have seen
him live, and mortal and chemist is the other one from team
d with someone else.

also a wicked 12". emanem and dr dre go under the team
doyobi knife! nice stuff in there. sort of reminds me of
the concept of the bug ep by nmb.

i have both those mortal and chemist releases, i've ripped
them and share them on slsk if you want them (same user name
as here but with a capital K). i prefer the stuff by nmb
allstars though i think, their smak release (smak 7 if i
remember right) is great.
