i've got an apple powerbook and it sucks much. friends
bought pcs for 500 euros that work just fine, while my pb,
which cost ridiculous 1800 euros is just the slowest
motherfucking computer i ever used. and just one month after
the guarantee expired the battery broke, it lasts for 15
minutes now. this fucking computer sometimes makes me laugh,
because of despair, considering its price and shittyness.

you can't churn out that one button vs. 2 button +
scrollwheel bollocks now.

well if you dont know how to manipulate your mac, then
you're just a fucking anti-geek and wont' be able to
decipher the difference between a mac and a pc beyond the
visual interface.

have fun with longhorn and ie 7 which doesn't support web
standards. oh i mean vista. no wait, microsoft is being sued
for taking that name. whatever. piece of shit that doesn't
follow rules and makes up its own fucked up non-xml
bullshit.

ya i have to admit though.. firefox fucking sucks on a mac
right now. they need to get that shit fixed soon. that's
firefox's responsibility though.

and thunderbird realllly sucks on a mac. but i see that it
sucks on windows too. very laggy and chews up memory for no
reason at all. psychotic.

id use 'mail' but i dont remember my smtp server password.

ive used windows for about 14 years, linux/bsd about 9 years
and mac about 9 years, and i have to say, osx works for me.
if gnome was so goddamn ghetto and kde didn't look like a
naked anorexic and gimp wasn't a piece of shit id use
linux/bsd.

why does windows require you to click on 'start' to
'shutdown'? why are there still blue screens and incestuous
ties between the kernel, outlook and ie? why is it so
fucking uglified? why haven't they updated ie 6.0 in
forever?

sure, mac ain't the godsend of utopia, but i sure prefer it
more than the former handicapped attempts at being glorified
calculators.

i think firefox sucks too. do you not like safari?

yeah i like safari but i can't rely on it completely for my
work. i am a developer so i have to check everything on as
many browsers as possible (hence, the hatred for browsers
that aren't standards compliant)

although the most recent version of safari that comes w/
tiger is pretty good - but i tend to look to firefox and ie
6.0 (through a windows box of course) first, and then
safari, opera, ie 5.2 (cringe), etc.

i think it's just force of habit that keeps me w/ firefox as
a default browser on my laptop. plus, the dom inspector
comes in handy for debugging :)
