kind of icy and dark. the droney pads were perhaps a bit
dull and repititous. However the combined sounds and tones
were very well placed and balanced. The reverb on the drums
is great. Maybe a passage where the drums grow distorted
would have been nice as the other drones and pads are very
clean sounding. Overall a well constructed piece.

btw, maybe it would be interesting if you all could say what
part of the world this music could be from..

it's pretty cheesy.

how are we supposed to guess which country this is from? all
this kind of music sounds the same, wherever it comes from.
:P

yes, the percussion is very muddy.

hmm... muddy... could that be a clue... *thinks of a muddy
country*
Is it from George Bush's arse? That's more of a shitty cunt
than a muddy country though... *thinks more*

The Star Trek sample at the end brought my geek into sharp
relief.

no, just cheesy!

I really can't hear any "ice". I mean, come on.. you can't
either, you'd never say that if you didn't know where it's
from..! :)

well, the fact is i have about 25 albums from the same
'scene' and it reminds me a lot of that..they have a very
specific sound to it, so im kinda biased, yeah..

old-skool Grinning Ape, no doubt...and the sampled voice in
the first track is qrter, of course.
