well, in your opinion, does this have potential?

clicky for music

intro is far too long.the layers are great but too obvious,
i would liked to have heard more percussion after it kicked
in. the track is great but it needs trimming a bit. yeah
more percussion.

in general good work, you need to re-organise the ins and
outs. keep at it! :)

thanks. i was thinking about getting rid of all the
percussion actually; i'm more of a melody person..... so
doing decent drums/percussion takes a long time. thanks for
the feedback.

Quite hypnotic -- I thought the percussion came in at a good
time, but then ... when the percussion stopped, the track
lost its momentum and I don't think the reintroduction of
the percussion worked... loses its flow.

Suggestion: Instead of dropping the percussion, bring it to
the forefront (not gradually) and with a little
development.

But the sounds were nice.

It's very nice, very nice. I agree the percussion coming out
and coming back might not be too effective, it makes it seem
as if the percussion's just kind of sitting on top of the
melody, it's as if it doesn't really "engage", if that makes
sense. But I loved the rolling tune and the bass was great,
this has potential to be a lost Ambient Techno classic. Can
you give me pointers on what you used to get that great bass
sound?

Hi, nice track.

Was the remix ok? Sorry for the perverted voice saying your
name, I don't know what I was thinking with that. It's my
awful sense of "humour" again.

i liked the intro very much but felt startled by the
rhythmic accentuation of the beat which was probably
compounded by how long it lasted (the beat). keep working
on it because it has potential, and quality. just knickity
wick any unpleasant unsubtleties.

thanks for the feeding back people.

gay; i dunno how i got the bass sound quite so nice, just
tweaking the synth till it sounded nice. i sound like such
fraud. i should be talking about ring modulation and things
like that.

i have decided i'm going to take this down the ambient
techno route. here is a slighty different cut, still not
finished.

It really is very, very good, i like it a lot, it's
tightened up, it sounds more "together", the bit at 3:00 is
a deft change of gear, it's a genuinely awesome track.

this is indeed very saw-1 ish as someone stated earlier,
it's cute and playful. very diggable, i don't find anything
displeasing about this at all. very good work, i hope to
hear more from you

Cool stuff, I like it even though I slightly dislike that
distorted snare :)

What a nice tune! Everything fits perfectly, I like the
backgroung fluctuations and lead melody, maybe only the bass
is too strong...

offline _gvarek_ from next to you (Poland) on 2005-07-31 11:31 [#01679977]

...and the snare, it's maybe a bit too "obvious".
