so I was wondering if you guys actually buy the music
software you use. I bought FL quite a while ago and recently
I bought absynth 3.0. (secondhand, and unregisterd, with box
and manual.looks new) for 'only' 190 euros.

I have bought a few bits and peices (Renoise for example),
but there are some things I can't justify paying out for
when all I have is a half hearted hobby. If I ever got
serious then sure I would pay for what I use.

I paid for Reason 3 because I knew I'd use it a lot. Other
than that I won't pay until I know I'm going ot use if a lot
and properly.

I bought a pen which I used to write down the serial numbers
of software which I had downloaded.

I bought logic express, so it was £200 but worth every
penny.
The only down side is not having a drum machine and only AU
support.
