i wrote this article a few days ago. indulge:

reperceiver . shtml

quote: "The value of any individuals input into the hive
mind will not be weighted by money or sexual desire, rather
on terms of the Reperceiver itself—information. In the
quest for deeper understanding, art and communication that
most vibrantly reflect the complex harmonies of the
vibrational universe and it’s proportionate scales will be
of most value."

feedback appreciated

I didn't read the whole article but, if your quote is
anything to go buy, you don't have a fucking clue what you
are talking about.

sorry if that came off harsh.

Fucked if i'm reading this. Your grammar is atrocious.

The "on" in the topic title is superfluous. You've left out
an apostrophe in the first line of the quote, at
"individual's" and added a rogue apostrophe in the
penultimate line at "it's proportionate.." (should be
"its")

You also switch prepositions in the first sentence:
weighted by money or sexual desire, rather
on......

I don't subject myself to reading shoddily-written texts,
thanks very much.

The subject matter and style in which you've exposed it are
also off-putting, it doesn't seem like you've done research
into the subject and instead have put together an article to
have the effect of projecting an image of yourself as
superintelligent.

I just clicked the article link and the first two sentences,
right:
The all too common defeatist outlook requires
intervention. A force in the form of another person
revealing or as existing conditions lying dormant in the
brain combining to bestow revelation must be present if the
defeatist is to change and learn to live in bliss.

Jesus christ.

Intervention in the form of what?
Another person revealing what? (reveal is a transitive verb,
you've done a big no-no here)

Also the "as" is superfluous as well.

Although I'm known as a grammar nazi here, I've made a point
of stopping correcting people's grammar on the message board
- I don't want to get shot down for this post: the only
reason I'm writing it is that you've put your article up
here for people to read and respond to.. and this is my
response.

Do you really expect people to read this stuff? It's
impossible. Learn how to write.

Jesus man, I'm sure there are plenty brilliant essayists
that need an editor to have their work checked. Lighten up.
I'm not saying this particular essay is brilliant, of
course.

It should be noted however that it would be
grammmmmmmatically possible for the "on" to not be
superfluous, depending on the content of the article.
ie. the article could be about REGARDING superintelligence,
not ABOUT superintelligence... however you stated you did
not read the article and therefore would not be able to make
this distinction.

did you research any of this, or is it just from your 'gut'
feeling on the matter - basically is this fact or just your
thoughts? you dont really give any sources, you mention just
one - and exactly what time frame do you give until the
coming of the reperceiver? its in its infant stages now? in
what form now? surely you dont mean the internet!

"did you research any of this, or is it just from your
'gut'
feeling on the matter"--

it's half and half. i'm sorry about the typo in the thread
title, but what do you do. hehe, wmw you caught that too--
i figure, hell, this is on "regarding superintelligence"..
kind of a coincidence.

i've been stuck on the idea that emotionally we are the same
person, all of us on this planet, kicking energy around in
the form of words attached to dopamine and other chemicals
in our heads. when i found out that a bunch of really smart
people like feynman and feigenbaum and kurzweil were
predicting futures supportive of this idea, i got a twist in
my knickers and had to write some things down.

go research artificial intelligence and the future of
computing and see what you find.

well it's especially unreadable for someone whose mother
tongue isn't english, and isn't used to common mistakes. i
read "individuals" as "individuals". didn't make much sense
indeed. i always interpret mistakes (apart from it's - its)
as forms or syntaxes i don't know, exceptions, etc.

well you can correct me anytime you want 'cause this way i
could make my english better!

well i am sometimes considered a "grammar nazi" sometimes,
but what you don't seem to get in the first place is that
grammar is the structure of a language. if don't know it you
can't build properly. not speaking properly is
mis(not)understanding the language you're speaking. it's
actually more a matter of logic than grammar.
