yeah, im gonna get one of these. but... how do you put it in
:S

its pretty simple

you take all the screws out of the bottom of the nes and
then the top comes off

you unscrew this metal sheet/protector

then you unscrew some more stuff and the thing that holds
the cartdridge in place comes out

and then the 72 pin connector is there, just unscrew it, put
the new one in

make sure you fucking MAKE SURE GOD DAMMIT

that when you screw the 72 pin connector in that its flush
with the circuit board. if it's sort of floating and you
have to screw it to get it to touch youre doing it wrong,
slide it around a bit till its flush

then just put everything back on

I have Ufouria, Mega Man 2-4, World Cup, Maniac Mansion, A
Boy and His Blob and some other stuff on NES... Carts beat
emulators anyday. And Ufouria beats any other NES game.

NES is my favourite all time console and I have loads of
games for it. I agree it's so much better than playing on an
emulator.

ufouria :D
i played that a few times as a kid but with emulators i
could never remember the name. then recently i was searching
through every nes rom title on a site and i found it. when i
downloaded memories came rushing back. gotta get that game.
i also wanna get all the megamans (which might be hard cos
456 werent released in australia) zeldas, kid icarus, boy
and his blob, lolo, mc kids, rad gravity, castlevania, star
wars, excite bike BLA BLA BLA
soo many great nes games, thats why nes = greatest console
of all time : )

Anyone ever play Xexyz? I played if for the first time just
a few months ago, dunno how it flew under my radar for like
2 decades. Interesting little
shooter/platformer/adventure/RPG game, ambitious to the max.

get the Chip n Dale games if you have an extra controller

the first Simpsons game was kind of nice if you have enough
patience

also the Tiny Toons games were enjoyable

omg, I forget, try to find the Ninja Gaiden games, specially
the part III

man, I wish I still had my old NES, my brother lost it in a
party. I've seen they are kind of cheap in eBay but the
shipping/insurance for a thing like makes it expensive,
maybe I should try to find an used NES here and just order
the pin connector.

also I'm interested in the new Nintendo console, Nintendo
Revolution, SNES had excellent games too

wow that midiness thing is pretty fucking cool sounding...
but it's monophonic? I don't understand that because NES had
polyphonic sound......

One of the nicest things I like about buying retro games I
find is being able to cheaply buy those games you could
never find a copy of;/afford, but that mates/hire places had
and you loved.

this reminds me...does anyone know of a video proboly shown
here...where it's sort of the style of 2d nes/snes, homemade
game of cause , possibly flash, of a person (real person),
riding on something like a skate board on a road with car's
going by, and the character jumping over cars and collecting
stuff...please give me link if you know this thankx
