Actually, I don't like Philip Glass.

Are you so pathetic that you have to make a thread solely to
satirise me? Here's a suggestion - why not log off and go
play with the happy people until your medication kicks in.

I agree it wasn't a nice thread, but please can we not
continue the discussion in this one? If this turns into a
slagging match between you both, I'll close it.

You're right, Aesthetics - it's young of me to respond to a
flammatory thread, slanderous in its claim that I like
Philip Glass

relax, I don't intend posting anything more on the subject -
I hadn't anyway, but I happened to see his thread and it was
closed so I thought I would answer the charge of being a

I just find his music rather dull -- I don't HATE his work,
I'm just not particularly keen on it.

Mr. Glass did a swell job on the Koyaanisqatsi soundtrac I
think. However, we were forced to listen to "Einstein on the
Beach" during music class last year at my university, and
MAN did it suck.

"Tolstoyed - it's not double standards - I haven't started a

Agreed. Tolstoyed, I'd leave it open- there's actually quite
a valid debate about Glass' work going on in this thread.

RE Glass: I'm pretty luke warm to him too.

them.

thin blue line
saxophone
4 tracks, a little repetive but good
candyman, i like it
maelstrom
glassworks

I had a friend back in 1993 who liked Glass' work, so I've
heard quite a bit of his stuff.. at first I enjoyed his
minimalism -- works like The Canyon. But on going back to
his work I found myself disinterested.
