everything before the drums sounds like an intro, so when
the drums only play for a few seconds, that's a short tune..
make more! otherwise you could probably also do well to
"fill" the space of the track.. it sounded "thin," if you
know what I mean...

sounds like it could be interesting if you keep working on
it!

ok the resonance pads are good, but I don't like that stupid
bassdrum. are you trying to make some low end techno or
something? the jungle part at the end it ok I guess. I'd
like it allot more if you didn't use the amen break :) and
went for something a bit more challanging.

Cheers. The first bit was the intro but I have a drugs test
tomorrow and I don't want to turn up looking like a filthy
smack head and I know for a fact I will never be in the mood
to finish it so meh. The first part needed more work and
the rest of it needed about 3 minutes added but it will
never be. In fact I don't know why I post them on the
board, doing them is just like a stress relief thing for me
rather than ever wanting to be a 'serious musician', yes, i
will stop posting them.

ahhaah! This is awesome! I thought it was going to be
ambientish the whole time and i loved it. Reminded me of the
album i made but never made public.

When the drummy stuff happens it was a complete surprise
that i never saw coming. It made me smirk because "you got
me". That was cool I would like to see that drummyness about
:45 to 1:15 longer with a nice fade out though.

Nice!

I love the Amen break...I like it like a child. About the
bass drum, it's a filtered kick...I was just pissing
about...it didn't turn out the way I wanted it, I know what
I wanted it to sound like though but it would be too hard to
put into words.

haha! don't stop posting them, IMO... I have no aspirations
towards becoming a serious musician either, but i post my
tracks. making music is a great hobby, but I'm aiming for
finishing my degree in philosophy and working with that.. of
course, it'd be fun to play some gigs, but probably only on
local basis and at small places. same goes for if I'm ever
"releasing" anything.. it'll be on cd-rs in the local record
store!

very moody, and avoids unnecessary repetition. the
introduction definately grabs your ear and makes you listen
to what is or isnt about to happen. i'd definately like to
hear more of it.

the filtered bass drum reminds me of hearing all the tents
at night at glade, hah :D

I really like it, I don't think it needs "finishing", I like
sketch books more than paintings, and I like musical
"sketches" more than full on, bloated albums. This says
"this is me, now". It's a good mix, and it's powerful in its
brevity. Keep on doodling.

Virgin_P: Is it time you released the unreleased album?

nice to hear such a distant kick drum and elongated intro
then wham. The sqelchy bass line during the aman could maybe
sit a more in front in the mix.
