bob: I like his cartoon avatar, at first I thought the brain was a pink hat. Clever use of the eyes, it looks like a scene from an acid trip . The monkey could be Mojo Jojo's wife (monkey villain from the cartoon series "The PowerPuff Girls"). I'm not sure he got the she-male part at all and it looks more dazed than as if it is suffering a headache. I'm not sure but I don't think he's our winner. Sorry bob but your avatar is to innocent to meet the brief for theme 1. :( |

WooferAttack: Again where is the she-male aspect? Again good use of the eyes but still not "headachy" enough. I do like the fact he's speaking over a mobile, which with all the radiation stigma and brain cancer scare surrounding mobiles, is a very good connoctation for the headache part of the brief. Whether or not he intended for this connoctation he still deserves credit for bringing a current topical issue into this contest and for using it in his avatar. WA, did you really intend for the mobile and headache connoctation, or i'm i reading to far into your avatar? *Truthfully e sensa mentire :) |

I like your avatar greatly, (i have it saved in my pic folder :)). Seeing as you have participated in the thread and have had the avatar for quite a while I don't see why you can't be allowed to be considered as a contestant for Theme 1. The prize is the prestige gained from winning. (maybe if phobs get involved we could arrange for a prize of points perhaps 500 for winning a theme and an extra 500 for the overall winner) |

axion: Very gruesome, it fits the she male part pretty well. Has that face been superimposed onto a pregnant women? I'm not sure about the headache, with a face as gruesome as that how can I tell that isn't it just smiling or panting? I like the sort of artistic reality aspect of it, It's like the missing link between painting an photo. axion, who/what is it looking at? |

cie jiks mawp: I like the refreshing honesty of the post in conjunction with the avatar (it made me lol): i am a she monkey. its monday. i got tonsilitis. a busted throat and a major headache. i cant be fucked doing the complex actions required to build and change my avator. the nurofen are making me smile. It is one of two photo avatar in the theme, both are very different in style. Unfortunately it is only the post which makes this avatar anything special therefore I don't think it should win as we are basing it on the avatar alone, not the post aswell. |

nacmat: The pink rubber headcap hits the she-male part right on the head. The guy does look in distress, and the emphatic position of the arms really brings the theme of headache across really well. It looks like the headcap and the holding of the head is the guy's attempt to stop his head exploding from the pain. Unfortunately for nacmat the brief also said monkey. Just beacause it's an old avatar I don't think it should be discrimnated against. I like this entry and it may have a chance depending on how much emphasis me and the others put on "monkey". |

lol, you have a sort of avatar's block. Just go into paint reduce the size of the pic you want as your avatar and then go to attributes and change the page dimensions, save under what you want and the change your xltronic settings. easy. You could send it to me or someone else if you want it done for next time:) |
