 | I fucking love it.
There is a 30gb version out too, but I just went for the
20gb. The sound quality is great, battery life is awesome.

vids on that disk without having to use a computer? i mean a
direct connection between the cam and player..

 | I paid £180, as for the direct connection I don't think that would be possible (not 100% sure though)

 | It's possible to upload pictures direct from a digital camera to an iRiver H320 or H340 - it's called "USB on the
go". Not all cameras are compatible though, so you'll have
to check that out first. However, it's always possible to
stick your memory card in a compatible cardreader. Lots of
 info at www.misticriver.com

It's also possible to watch video on the H320/H340, and the
quality's surprisingly decent. Certainly good on bus
 journeys, etc.

 | i just dont know, i've played around with ipods on a few occasions and the usability is just staggaring to me. i
 pretty much love it.

plus, it always seems to rank at the top of all the reviews
i read like at cnet or in wired magazine.
granted, i've not looked too hard for in depth reviews..
