it's somewhat similar to super_collider, insofar as it's more songy than it is dance 12"y... and a lot of the instrumentation is very moment to moment as opposed to loop based... the production is fucking impeccable. having only really heard it 1 1/2 times through i can say pretty confidently that this will crack my top ten for the year, and possibly top 5... |

heh. i do my best. at this point i'm really uncertain how much i like this... i know i like it some... but there are a few things that irk a little. all the same, it needs to be heard a hell of a lot more than so much other stuff out this year and holy shit did it ever take these review folks months and months to get to it. i'm hoping if i give it some more listens it will further gem-ify itself. |
