Aren't trees the most amazing, beautiful things to look at? This isn't an attempt at being funny, in all honesty. I mean, they can be dark and forboding, like at twinlight in the middle of a forest (when the light shines through them in *that* way, making one fear for random strangers creeping in the undergrowth) or they can lift an otherwise dirgy shithole into a beautiful scene to look at.
I like trees.

Trees are important for me, living near a big forest is fantastic. Walking in the woods with or without music is something I really should do more... It would be great in so many ways.

Yes, with music, it's even better. Provoding the music accompanies the scene nicely (i.e not clanging abusive industrial music.)
There should be a genre of "tree music", especially designed for walks in the forest with shitty walkman earphones.

isnt that the "multiplicity of the leaves" effect? the same with bricks?
you know racionaly that there are hundreds of leaves, but you cant see it, just like if you look to your skin and dont see your cells...

If trees could talk, I bet they would tell us to stand still and chill. "Silly animals, always mucking about," they'd say.
Could you imagine living out your entire life in one spot?
trees can.

In the woods there grew a tree A fine, fine tree was he
On that tree there was a limb And on that limb there was a branch On that branch there was a nest And in that nest there was an egg In that egg there was a bird And from that bird a feather came Of that feather was a bed
On that bed there was a girl And on that girl there was a man From that man there was a seed And from that seed there was a boy From that boy there was a man And for that man there was a grave From that grave there grew a tree

Trees are beautiful. Thats something else I can add into my photoblog idea. I live in a forester's dreamland, with foliage of everykind. I saw some cottonwood trees the other day about 4 - 5 feet wide about a hundred feet tall. I triend to catch the cotton like fluffs floating around the air but made a fool of myself none the less. A spectacle of idiocity at the park.

it's a shame about the "butchered" trees you see in town sometimes... you know, the ones they cut the branchs very short so they look amputated. : (
i think they're the only ones that look not so pretty. but it's not their fault.
