Anyone heard it yet? Was thinking about picking it up and
wanted some opinions.

Not likely to happen. In a recent interview, Billy said that
he was thinking of resurrecting the band with out James and
D'arcy as his relationship with them is pretty much dead.

What sort of Smashing Pumpkins is a Smashing Pumpkins
without James and/or D'Arcy? More like a Smashing or a
Pumpkins. I assign one syllable to each of them, and if
Billy is going to cut out two of the members he can't keep
their syllables. So they could be a Sma Pump or a Shing
Kins. But not a Smashing Pumpkins.

Haha!

About the cd: it's nothing that special but at the same time
it's a great listen.

If you're willing to forget everything he has done before
and if you don't mind more than a wink to the eighties. The
Bee Gees cover on it (with Robert Smith) is great. And the
best thing is it's only 45 minutes (more than enough nasal
singing for one cd).

I applaud any sort of Pumpkins reunion btw.

I've only heard/read really negative reviews of it.

its not all that bad but im a MASSIVE pumpkins fan and any
offshoot is always good. a reunion will always be diff than
the original band but its billy that writes most of it with
jimmy so it will prolly just sound like zwan again.

nice to see u back physt
