I was wondering if anyone has tried any of the legal drugs (they are mostly the same from country to country, I believe), such as the ones here. My guess would be that they aren't comparable, but I can't help from being slightly curious.

to me it always just seemed like they found plants that looked similar to weed and packaged it. I've heard on some websites that some of them can give you a buzz, but for the most part it seems like its not worth your time or money.

well salvia is much different than those "herbal bud substitutes."
salvia is a real psychoactive that, if imbibed correctly, causes extreme hallucinations. its definately not something one smokes as an alternative to weed.

I just read something that suggested that it won't be legal for much longer here in the US.

yeah, to be honest, I don't know why it's still legal as of right now. I guess it's just because they (the US govt) didn't know much about it and didn't want to spend any money researching it. I think its becoming more and more popular as a substitute for teens not wanting to get caught with weed, or unable to find anyone who can sell it to them. The problem with that is, as I stated earlier, that salvia is NOT a substitute for weed, even though its easy to assume that it is since it is an herb that you imbibe by smoking.
