Excellent, although I can't remember what people look like so I will have no way of getting in touch. Part of the reason for going on Thursday is that if you arrive before 12pm on the Friday you are allowed to take a "carry allowance" of alcohol. After Friday midday it will be refused :D! |

There is something on the Glade forum about it :) Apparently because the festival doesn't officially start until 12pm on Friday the local authority are allowing a bit of relaxation in license terms in the run up. No glass bottles or cans(?) though. Everything has to de decanted in plastic bottles. |

Also, I don't know how you will be getting there, but the bus from the train station is going to cost £2 each way. Cars arriving with less than 3 people have to pay a £5 'green tax', showers are going to cost £1.50 a go and a secure unit to store valuables will cost £3 for the weekend. Larger will cost about £2.80 a pint, but I hate drinking anything alcoholic out of plastic. Glade will never turn as commercial as Glasto...honest :P |
