Always trying to make a quick buck out of anything. Take a look at this. Decks of cards glorifying and extolling the virtues of the oh-so-great neo-con leaders, and shitting on those who have a shred of decency and morality to them: Kofi Annan and Hans Blix are in the "Thugs and Weasels" deck along with people like Atta, Hussein and Qaddafi.
I KNOW this is meant to be a joke, funny, whatever, but it's appealing to the lowest common denominator, so sales are probably doing quite well in the US. I can't stop imagining stupid fucking rednecks playing poker with them and guffawing aloud at the captions, unaware of their absurdity.
The one below is what really riled me up. This has nothing to do with the board, I doubt anyone gives a shit, but I've got to vent my anger somehow. I feel so fucking angry about this, I'm becoming ever more violently racist against America. It's dispicable but I feel like pulverizing the entire nation.
NOAM CHOMSKY IS NOT A FUCKING HOLOCAUST DENIER
For fuck's sake. I'm fucking raging. Why does America have to be so stupid, be not just spoonfed this shit, but to enthusiastically lap it up. It makes me so fucking angry inside.

Just say "I hate capitalism" and that pretty much covers it all.
It's way too easy just to say "I hate america" because a lot of people in america probably agree with you. Those people don't get a chance to represent themselves and all you and I see is a view of america that is molded and shaped by those who have the power to do so. We are all victims my friend.

I met a nice American guy the other week at a Thievery Corporation gig. Not all Americans are the same. You just think it because all we ever see on tv is the dickheads. They need to get viewers somehow. Nobody would be interested in seeing nice, normal Americans. You know what stereotypes are like.

Sometimes it seems as though non americans have nothing to do better then complain about americans. its quite brilliant actually because the way our medias work we will have no allies and then no longer be a super power down the road.
its only a matter of time.

Well non-Americans have realised that the US Govt. and Corporations are a major threat to world peace and trade. For instance, WalMart have bought over ASDA here in the U.K. and now TimeWarner are attempting to buy out ITV, the 1st of 2nd most watched television channel in the U.K. so don't blame us for being wary and 'having nothing better to do' than to keep a very cautious eye on the doings of our neighbours across the Atlantic.

The stereotypical suburbanite gets off work, drives his air conditioned SUV through the McDonald's drive through for some comfort food on his way to the grocery store, where he picks up 20 lbs of Beef and 20 lbs of potato chips and fills his SUV with them. After spending an hour in traffic, he gets home, barbecues, and watches football. It's like living in isolation. His house is made out of the shittiest materials and is identical to the neighbors'. It will fall apart before the mortgage is done.

When the policies of America effect the rest of the world so greatly, putting us all now within the grim possibility of nuclear war, I think everyone has a right to speak their mind about the administration.
The reason I attacked, and do attack so often, normal Americans is because they are, generally incredibly stupid -- there is an overwhelming majority of idiots who just sit around, get fat, and believe everything their TV tells them.
I don't think any of these people reside on this messageboard -- idm would be a little beyond them -- and I do absolutely acknowledge the fact that there are great, sound American Joe Bloggses out there. What I have a problem with is this overwhelming majority of IDIOTS, the sort of people who say speaking out against a government is unpatriotic, even though that's the very freedom of speech that they hold so dear as to inflict a horrific war of plunder - in the name of liberation of things like speech.
...I just want to get across that I'm not casting a blanket expression over ALL Americans (even though I stand by the title of my topic, as I believe that something as ill-concieved and pathetic as this could only come out of America, where the #1 reason you are alive is to MAKE MONEY.)
And, as for the Noam Chomsky holocaust denier bullshit, it's because Noam signed a petition for French holocaust denier Robert Faurisson wrote a preface for a book by him. He didn't write about anything to do with the holocaust in the preface, he is in fact a jew (and his first language is Hebrew), his preface is about the protection of the freedom of speech. Yet time and time again he gets pulverised by the right for doing this. He said something very poignant about it:
If you're in favour of freedom of speech that means you're in favour of freedom of speech precisely for views you despise, otherwise you're not in favour of freedom of speech.

have non-americans realized that? if so, then why do they and their governments consistently seek to work with u.s. businesses? i'm not suggesting that economic imperialism is a good thing; i'm taking you to task for putting out the welcome mat. the reason you've got mcdonalds in your country is because you (or your neighbors) are eating there. it seems you'd like to find anybody to blame for all of england's problems (except the english).
it's really surprising how many people whine about corporate/capitalist influence in their countries and yet they persist in accepting corporate, mass media stereotypes about americans as factual.
unfortunately, the most relevant observation for this thread, that noam chomsky is american, has already been posted.

Yes, so it's been said Noam Chomsky is American.
As I have already said -- it's not all Americans that I'm railing against, it's the majority, made up of morons whom i've already described. Noam Chomsky is the a person for whom I have the utmost respect, in fact more respect than any other. I'm not saying it's impossible to be brilliant or indeed brilliantly intelligent if you're born and raised American, all I'm saying is that I dispise this group of Americans who are so completely mindless.

But you use anecdotal evidence to attack a large, ill-defined group of people. You attack people that you know very little about. If you expressed yourself literally, you'd hear how ill-informed you sound. What you mean is "Some Americans are stupid." Not exactly a revelation, I think.
