That reminds me of when I was a student. I hated the movie
and after hearing the soundtrack played over and over again
I hated that. I even hate the posters.

no sir..don't like it

you seem to be discussing the vinyl there but i only know a
series of 2 cds so you've got to be missing a few tracks.
those are all great though. Hope i ever get to hear it at a
party!

the movie is ok, but a party with this as a soundtrack would
be very PMS.

disc 1 appears to be the same tracks you mentioned.

disc 2

not really a double disc set but 2 standalone soundtracks.

i for one think this movie is utterly brilliant, by the way.

The primal scream track is the best thing they ever did by a
million miles, even better than echo dek. Yes. Also, I
bought this on tape and listen to it quite muchly.

begby I think his name was, and yeah, he was awesome.

the album is a bit hit and miss I reckon, and I love the
movie, I suppose i'm lucky that it's not popular over here
at all, so I haven't been overexposed to it.

begbie was a vicious cunt.

he was played by robert carlyle, who became one of my
favourite actors after i saw this movie. even his voice is
so full of venom throughout the whole movie.. it's
incredible.

the soundtrack is good, but i wouldn't consider it party
material..... it's too up-and-down.

Trivia: For its American release, the first 20 minutes had
to be re-dubbed to make the Scottish accents more
intelligible.

Fucking cocks.

yeah, there are couple of ambient tunes not suitable for
party but the rest of it is splendid! all songs fit together
nicely though!

good soundtrack indeed. lately i've been listening to the
blue velvet soundtrack, afther having rediscovered
'mysteries of love' through the very gayish anthony and the
johnsons 'i fell in love with a dead boy' ep
