i just had a rather strange walk to the shops for lunch. it's a 10 minute walk, and on the way down and back i was asked for a smoke by 4 different randomers, i couldn't believe it. i said to the 4th one "is this a fucking joke or something", laughing, and he went "fuck you y'cunt" i don't know, it's just incredibly odd, i find. 4 in the space of 10 minutes. usually it doesn't happen for weeks. i don't have a problem with friends who do it, since you know the favour will be returned, but strangers going up to you and asking for a cig kinda piss me off unless i've just got a shiny new 20 box and am feeling generous. having said that, i've been known to do it myself.. :/ |

i am a firm believer in cigarette karma. a few months ago at school i would bum for a week, then on the weekend buy 3 packs, 2 to bum out to people and one for myself. and i wholly agree with dannn on the rollie thing. i started smoking rollies a few months ago, and whenever people ask to bum one and i say 'roll away' they just make a disgusted look and walk away. the worst, though, of course, is bumming one from someone and not realizing its menthol until that first drag. GEEE-ROOOOSSSSEE!!! |
