It's near the end of the week and my bosses still haven't
met with me like I requested. I'm 6 months overdue for a
raise and have been given a 2 1/2 month assignment to clean
up a mess caused by a bug in their software. I don't know
how much longer I can take it here. I'm not using any skills
I learned in collage for 2 years, I'm underpaid, and any
career advancement they offer will not be in the direction I
want. But I have people depending on me so I can't afford to
quit. Plus, my skills have atrophied quite a bit from
non-use.
