the box set i got today for £22 i didn't intentionally go to buy i just had some money and saw it and it seemed reasonably priced, and i love old soaps (as if you didn't already know!). it has 5 dvds and it covers the first 29 episodes 1978-9, about 24 hours worth |

dynasty did have Joan Collins as Alexis.. now THAT was a woman who could kill with her accent. you really only needed to stand close to some form of open fire, which would keep her at bay in fear of igniting and going up in a hairspray-fireball. |

i've really never heard of "dallas." I don't watch much TV, and I especially didn't in the 80's. I was 6 years old when the show stopped airing in '91. At that time I was still watching ninja turtles and shit. I guess it's sort of strange that no one I've ever talked to has mentioned it, though I don't often talk about soap operas to begin with. In fact, I can't remember a time where I've ever watched a soap longer than the duration one sees while channel surfing, nor have I ever had any kind of meaningful/serious conversation about a soap opera, so I guess that's that. :D |

people who watch dallas are too fucking stupid to have "realisations". it's good that mindless piece of shit kept them off the streets from becoming seasoned bumfights features. i don't have a clue what i'm trying to say - basically dallas was a terrible, terrible show, and i've lost all respect for yourself and earthleakage. but especially you, qrter: dynasty did have Joan Collins as Alexis.. now THAT was a woman who could kill with her accent. whythefuckhaveyouwastedyourlife? |
