How about albums that you play for a long, long time. Check
mine:

Doves 'Lost Souls'
DJ Shadow 'Endtroducing'
Kruder & Dorfmeister 'K & D Sessions'
Sasha 'Global Underground:San Francisco'
Tosca 'Suzuki'

Yeah i love the deep, dark proggy stuff. I've never heard
any Jose Padilla. My mate had one of his albums but I never
listened to it. Missed opportunity.

Autechre - Amber
BOC - "Music has the right..."
Aphex Twin - SAW II
The Cure - Disintegration
LTJ Bukem - Journey Inwards

and so on and so on......

Points: 6650 Status: Lurker

Bukem had made some really amazing tunes but I was
disappointed with Journey Inwards.

I loooove that album....especially the 2nd disc....

I know what you are saying though, some of the tracks you
can skip through

i love journey inwards.... got producer yet? great driving
music :)

yeah thats good also....

They ONLY Bukem I dont like is when he records with MC
Conrad.....

That guy just annoys the HELL outta me

offline dingle berry from on a small plastic chair breat (Haiti) on 2002-02-19 14:33 [#00093952]

conrads a good mc yeah he goes on a bit but bukem aint bukem
without conrad!

offline IronLung from the 91fwy in soCAL (United States) on 2002-02-19 14:35 [#00093953]
Points: 8032 Status: Lurker | Show recordbag

wow...you think so????

Man....I am totally opposite....

When I think of Bukem, I think of very laid back atmos.
DnB....
Conrad just gets on my nerves real quickly....

I think thats why I like "Journey Inwards" soooo much.....

offline jonesy from Lisboa (Portugal) on 2002-02-19 14:38 [#00093958]
Points: 6650 Status: Lurker

MCs do get annoying as they just talk crap.

I think Journey Inwards gets a bit too noodly. You can't
beat Atlantis and Music. I just love the old jungle beats
and wicked atmospherics

offline IronLung from the 91fwy in soCAL (United States) on 2002-02-19 14:40 [#00093960]
Points: 8032 Status: Lurker | Show recordbag

agreed.....I have to admit, 90% of MC's annoy the hell outta
me.....

The "producer" albums are great....

Atlantis is excellent also....

Haven't got the producer album, just some Good Looking
comps. If you like mellow d n'b check out Omni Trio. I have
to replace my copy of Haunted Science as I lost it when my
car was stolen and burnt out by some juvenile delinquents. I
lost a load of quality stuff that I taped off of a mate.
Bastards!!!

As Vincent Vega said....

-"It would have been worth them doing it to CATCH them doing
it....I mean you just dont fuck with another man's
automobile..."

=)

Believe! If I ever found them I'd get medieval on their ass!
Minus the buggery of course.
