This atfernoon i've been playing Geogaddi in my cousin's house where i am alone with 3 cats. The music was not too loud but the bass could be easily felt thanks to the subwoofer.
When the album began one of the cats came into the lounge and laid on the floor. Then with each song he had strange different behaviours. For instance the cat got up just after the 1st second of track 11 then she laid down and kept lying when the 12nd track was playing.
I don't remember everything but the cat seemed impressed and disturbed by Geogaddi. Have you experienced some events like that with your pets ?

Cats must think we're very strange animals for having boxes that make such noises.

track 11 is energy warning...the dirst sounds might have reminded the cat about something....weird
hmmm...i remember when i played drukqs at my parents' house - their dog seemed somewhat disturbed , raised his head and looked towards the speakers...he heard those sounds 10 or 20 times louder than me, obviously...
other questions that might appear in this thread : how do animals hear music ? what happens in their brains when they hear music ?

Geogaddi is a very unsettling album, even though it's brilliant. I bet the two BoC boys were performing strange pagan rituals and conducting seances during its creation.
No wonder the cats acted strangely.

cats are prone to liking electronic music - the same way they love the sound of shaking a spray can and the crunching of plastic bags, etc. cats like weird, unnatural sounds.

dunno anything 'bout boc but a cat was reported to be very amazed by Kotra album Dissilient, which is random picky noises and feedback. What exactly was that cat doing - she was examining the smell of speakers, from all sides of them.
