nasum.com

believe it or not, there's no threads about this great
grindcore band. their sound reminds me of a more
hardcore-inspired brutal truth, but their songs are much
shorter in general.

unfortunately, it turns out that mieszko (the
guitarist/singer) died in the tsunami last year. so i guess
they've broken up.

anyway, there's a lot of great mp3's on the website you can
download. check them out if you haven't already.

Shit, I didn't know that he died, that's a big loss to the
genre I guess. I've got some good memories to their Human
2.0 album, good stuff.

listen to the mp3's on the website if you're interested.

impakt - yeah, i was reading their website while he was
missing - it took them a while before they reported he was
actually dead.

okay, well the mp3's with an * next to them are from their
new "Grind Finale" compilation cd. so if you want an album
to buy, maybe try that. it has a lot of music on it.

I am sure if REFLEX still posted here this thread would
become bigger. He was quite a fan. Its a shame he barely
posts here. Another grind fan, another hardcore guy.

I might check em out!

yeah, i remember him. he seemed to be more into the
horror/humor side of grind whereas i prefer the
vaguely-political nonsense theme. seemed pretty cool,
though!

anyway, i'm not that worried about the size of the thread -
none of my threads get very popular.

I love Humor + nonsense. Thats why i am the biggest SOD fan
in WI and most likely the Midwest.

Their first two Relapse albums are great. I think I'll give
one of them a blast now.

there are a few Nasum fans here and there were threads too
(like, 3 or something). They are great. Shame about the
singer! I hadn't heard about that... rip
