yeah.. I would almost accuse them of selling out, but
they've been gay all along. made some good tracks on their
first album, but only a few.

I love Royksopp. It's especially good place-association
music, if you know what I mean. Each song on Melody AM has
deep emmotional ties with different places in Europe for me.

it seems like they want to top that 1mil releases of melody
am with this new album..shame on them.

Well I like a bit of catchiness, ultra shiny production, and
quirkiness once in a while. Royksopp do that quite nicely.

are you questioning their artistic merit by suggesting they
have deliberately written music to cater for a wide
audience? because if you are, that is an absolutely
ridiculous thing to suggest

bands like that will ruin the electronica genre..they were
already sort of proclaimed for the new electric miracle or
something..and excuse me, but their music sounds real
shallow to me for some reason..

It's not shallow, it's fun. :-)

The tunes are actually really memorable, the production is
nice and clean, and they have cute English accents too. It's
all good.

Oh? Whoops. Well the, the singers they choose always seem to
have slightly odd accents.

I loved the last Funkstorong CD because of the odd accents
too.
