I'm a DJ and use a combination of Fruityloops Studio and acid pro 4.0 to create my sounds though I'm going through a bit of a creative block at the moment as the stuff I was producing was was too commercial sounding (basically repetitive trance beats) and I don't really have a direction to go in. I use a weasel on speed on a mini treadmill to generate my power |

What a great thing that is! Do you have a technical lay out of it? I don't like to call myself a DJ to be honest...don't why that is. I do make all sorts of mixes, the program I use for that is called mixmeister and I edit some of the tunes/samples in Cooledit. I mix all sorts of music but mainly Electronic, as some of you might know. Currently I'm working on a "Ninja Tune only" mix which is almost done. Still planning to buy some turntables again. |
