Melt Banana - 13 Hedgehogs (MxBx Singles 1994-1999)

melt banana
boomkat
midheaven

it's awesome. they were just on a tour of the states (which
i unfortunately missed). this is a collection of
singles/ep's - 56 songs. if you have those illegal
mp3's of their singles, you should buy this - it sounds much
better. the artwork is cute pseudo-hardcore collage
(perhaps an homage to the black flag and big black cheap
"table full of contraband" photo covers?)...

if my collection of mp3's are anything to go by, their
mastering was pretty shocking until they got up to cell
scape

"Melt banana" is that a Gravity's Rainbow reference?

collection is mastered well. it all sounds very good.

this isn't a bad cd to buy if you've just discovered them.
their most accessible proper album is probably cell scape.
