it's an extremely tough choice, but my 30 seconds of
deliberation has chosen halflife 1, and my opinion will
probably change by weeks' end.

carmageddon 2 "carpocalypse now", in my personal ratings.

I would put halflife two above halflife one anytime. I would
rate halo around halflife 2 though, and I would rate diablo
two the same as halflife 2.

cave story. it's like a cross between metroid and a treasure
shooter, and it's free.

Deus Ex and the first Half Life, two nice and safe picks.

Of the ones I've played (havn't played any remotely recent
ones probably), I'd choose the zdoom source port for doom
and all the free downloadable levels. The original command
and conquer is probably in second place. Great memories in
that game; you really feel like you're conquering. Most
missions where you don't have a base can be annoying though.
I also didn't like the way you randomnly choose the next
location because it seems the only way to play every
possible level is to save at each junction then load old
games repeatedly. The covert operations were great too but
red alert wasn't that great.

yes, doom is megacool. i still play it sometimes. i doubt if
it beats carmageddon for me but i love them both. doom 1, 2
under 3D new engine is what i play sometimes besides carma
and quake.

Grim Fandango is a brilliantly laid out game, and although
it is not as good as the others mentioned here graphic wise
or in terms of gameplay, is has a damn fine storyline and
was a pleasure to play

Manny is awesome : "I don't really wanna do that"

what one is your favourite?

mine would be keen 4. keens 1 thru 3 and keen dreams seem a
little naff to me.

yes definitely the 4-5-6 series were nicer to play.

5 is probably my favourite, then 6, then 4, then 1..........
i never actually finished 2 or 3. i'd gotten them after the
second series so the graphics were just grating a little
with me.

keen dreams shouldn't even be considered ;) bollocks.
it was right to shelve it.

Keen 4 - The Secret Of The Oracle was the best Keen game.
Keen should make a 3D comeback.

yeah I played all the quest for glory games and 2 was great.
I really liked 4 except it would always crash at the same
part like 1 hour into the game, so I never had the chance to
finish it. =(

ever played.

I could never forget it, it was a pretty hard
action/adventure game wonderboy style.
